Bio: Dr. Christine Oakley was born and raised in Orange County, California. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a bachelor’s degree in Biology, and went on to receive her DVM degree from The Ohio State University. She completed a rotating small animal internship followed by a specialty Oncology internship and Oncology residency at VCA West Los Angeles. She successfully passed her oncology board exam in June 2017. Her professional interests include hemangiosarcoma and adjunctive alternative treatments to treating this disease, as well as the exciting new roles of immunotherapy and targeted molecular therapies such as tyrosine kinase inhibitors.

She and her husband enjoy spending time with their golden retriever Nouveau and cats Bella and Toulouse. She enjoys yoga, cycling, snowboarding and the beach in her spare time as well as exploring good restaurants.
