1) Review anticonvulsant drug options for dogs and cats

2) Discuss pros and cons of each drug option and their use in a clinical setting

3) Review other reported seizure treatments (including diets, CBD, etc)

Speaker Bio:
Dr. Dana Sengewald obtained her BS degree at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign & DVM degree at University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.

She completed a Small Animal Medicine & Surgery Internship at Purdue before going onto a Neurology Internship at VCA Animal Specialty Group. She went on to complete a Neurology & Neurosurgery Residency at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Florida.

Dr. Sengewald joined the VCA Animal Specialty Group (ASG) Neurology Team in Los Angeles in July 2020.
