• Jeff Pollard, DVM, DABVP-Canine/Feline
  • Pollard is a practicing veterinarian in Southern CA. He works closely with both the legal and medical teams at CHOU2 PHARMA and sits on the advocacy committee for of the Veterinary Cannabis Society. Dr. Pollard co-authored the Veterinary Medical Board’s Guidelines for Veterinarian Discussion of Cannabis.

• Mark Cushing, J.D. and Founder/CEO of Animal Policy Group
  • As the founder and managing partner of the Animal Policy Group, LLC (APG), Mr. Cushing offers representation for a wide range of veterinary and pet health interests. Most recently, Mr. Cushing authored Pet Nation, a title that explores the forces behind pets becoming treasured members of the family. Mark Cushing is specialized legal counsel for Chou2 Pharma.
• Blake Smith, MPH
  • As Chief Technical Officer, Mr. Smith works closely with CHOU2 PHARMA’s team of veterinarians and doctors to formulate, test and refine a science-first product line to support every possible need state of every animal. His expertise in the all-natural isolation, extraction and encapsulation of cannabinoid molecules stems from nearly a decade in medical cannabis and compounding. Prior to his work in cannabis, Mr. Smith worked in pharmaceutical formulation for human health, after earning his degree as a biochemical engineer.
