Speaker: Dr April Summers, DVM, PHD, DACVECC

Bio: Dr. April Summers obtained a Phd. in Cancer Biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2013 and earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University in 2017.  She completed a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Rotating Internship at The Ohio State in 2018, and completed her Small Animal Emergency Critical Care Residency at Cornell University in 2021.

She is the head of AVSG Internal Medicine & Emergency and Critical Care in Tustin, and in her free time she enjoys traveling.
