– Dr Adam Gerstein- “Delivering Essential Veterinary Care During a Pandemic: The (Temporary) New Normal and Beyond”-
As veterinary teams strive to provide essential veterinary care, it is
increasingly challenging to meet client needs while minimizing the risk to
the public and to clinic care teams. And yet, if the client has made the
effort to bring their pet to a veterinary clinic, we have the opportunity to
make the visit as effective, efficient, and valuable as possible.
Telemedicine, diagnostic accuracy, speed to results, and
comprehensiveness all play a role in reducing the need for repeat visits as
well as optimizing speed to recovery. As veterinary care teams settle in to
this temporary new normal, we will share opportunities to prepare for the
post-pandemic era with enhanced patient care and practice operations
strategies. Dr. Gerstein will spend time discussing our new SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) PCR test, he will discuss the test and answer questions
