Procedural sedation is often an underutilized tool for small practitioners. This educational program will demystify the concept of procedural sedation and its use in dogs. Detailed information on a novel sedative, a combination of the alpha-2-agonist, medetomidine, with the peripheral alpha-2 antagonist, vatinoxan will be provided. Real-world cases highlighting the use of this sedative will demonstrate how to leverage procedural sedation in your clinic.
