Canine protein-losing enteropathy is a common manifestation of canine gastrointestinal disease that can be caused by a variety of diseases. Join our discussion on how to find out which disease process is causing your canine patient’s protein-losing enteropathy as well as how to implement novel dietary and medical therapies for the most common causes! We will also cover monitoring response to treatment and troubleshooting patients who are not responding to conventional therapies.

• Identify causes and diagnostic tests for protein-losing enteropathy (PLE) to target treatment effectively
• Learn which diets and medications to utilize for PLE secondary to lymphangiectasia and/or inflammatory bowel disease
• How to monitor PLE response to treatment and adjust treatments as needed
