Interactions between the immune system and cancer

Speaker: Dr. Chelsea Greenberg

This presentation will briefly review the interactions between the immune system and cancer, and describe various immunotherapy strategies. Practical options for immunotherapy in clinical practice will be discussed, including metronomic chemotherapy and autologous cancer vaccines. Time will be allotted at the end for questions and discussion.

Bio:  Dr. Greenberg’s responsibilities include veterinary technical support and Torigen’s clinical research program. She has multiple years of experience in private specialty practice, medical administration, and as clinical academic faculty. Dr. Greenberg is board certified through the American College of Veterinary Medicine specialty of oncology. She also earned a MS degree from Purdue University and her DVM degree from the University of Missouri.
