Speaker: Kristi Krause, DVM, Dipl. ABVP (Feline)

Bio: Kristi Krause, DVM, Dipl. ABVP (Feline) received her bachelor’s degree in Zoology and Rhetoric & Communications in 1993 and her DVM in 1997 from UC Davis. She became board certified in feline medicine by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in 2005. Kristi currently works as a managing veterinarian and partner at Serrano Animal and Bird Hospital, where they are the veterinarians for the Orange County Bird of Prey Center, Orange County Zoo, Wildhaven Ranch, several other private facilities, and until recently, the Exotic Feline Breeding Center, where she has also been serving as president. They are the Veterinarians of Record for CSU Fullerton and CHOC hospital. They serve the area animal control agencies, state and federal wildlife agencies, and area biologists. She has published 2 papers in the Journal of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine having nothing to do with cats, but penguins and foxes- cat food. In addition, she serves as the Fishing Cat, Serval, and Jaguarundi Veterinary Advisor for the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
