Speaker: Chrystal Nguyen, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology)

Bio:  Dr. Chrystal Nguyen was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed her bachelor’s degree in pre-medical and health sciences at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and graduated from Tufts University College of Veterinary Medicine. During her studies, she spent time working with elephants in Thailand as well as obtaining additional clinical experience in Tokyo. After graduating from vet school, Dr. Nguyen completed a small animal rotating internship at Animal Specialty Group in Glendale, California. The following year, she moved to Washington, where she completed both her neurology specialty internship and neurology residency at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle. Clinically, Dr. Nguyen enjoys neurosurgery and neuroimaging. Additional interests include neuropathic pain, seizure, and immune-mediated disease management. During her free time, Dr. Nguyen will often be found attending music festivals or trying out new restaurants. She also loves spending time at home with her three cats, crafting/crocheting, or playing video games.
