This presentation provides clinical signs, tips for diagnosing, and touches on potential treatment modalities. This presentation also discusses numerous research studies and the insights gained from results. Learn how early intervention and nutrition can help improve the lives of aging pets!

Speaker:  Dr. Anna Biesbrock, DVM, MS; Professional Consulting Veterinarian, Hill’s Pet Nutrition

Bio: Dr. Anna Biesbrock is a small animal general practitioner and is currently a regional consulting veterinarian for Hill’s Pet Nutrition based out of Los Angeles. She completed her veterinary training at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine with a focus on public health and research. Prior to her veterinary training she completed her Master’s degree at the University of Texas at Tyler, where she studied biology with a focus in molecular biology, utilizing insect cell culture to help develop a biopesticide for an agriculturally important invasive insect species. This research resulted in a publication.

Her interests include preventative medicine, feline medicine, nutrition, end of life care, and education. When she is not practicing, she enjoys spending time with her two feline companions, tending to her garden, and being near the ocean whenever possible.
