Objective:
Dr. Wang will review the common feline ocular diseases including eosinophilic keratitis, FHV-1, iris melanosis vs diffuse melanoma, uveitis, and hypertensive retinopathy.
Speaker: Dr. Joyce Wang
Dr. Hsiao-Hui (Joyce) Wang is an enthusiastic veterinarian who obtained her DVM degree in Taiwan where she sparked a strong interest in veterinary ophthalmology. After graduation, she obtained the certificate in advanced small animal medicine and surgery training in Taiwan in 2007. She fulfilled the requirement of the Assessment of Veterinary Education Equivalence (PAVE) at Colorado State University in 2011 and earned a Master of Science degree in veterinary ophthalmology in 2013. She finished her small animal rotating internship at VCA Veterinary Referral Associates in 2015 and completed the residency training in veterinary ophthalmology at the Ohio State University in 2018. She became a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist in 2018. In her spare time, she likes to travel and go hiking with her husband.
